1979 Volkswagen 183 Iltis. Ex military (Bundeswehr) but mildly added civilian spec pieces such as the soft top colour and doors, rear iltis fog light, dash light and wheel colour...all as factory available at the time. This Iltis was a weekend fun vehicle for the Royal Netherlands forces combat photographer until i bought it from him in 2019. The Iltis won the Paris/Dakar rally in 1980 and its 4x4 system was the starting point for the Audi Quattro. The Dakar cars were just military versions.
